The Dolce&Gabbana DNA suit
This 3-piece suit, made of precious 200’s superfine wool, has been wisely cut by the tailors, taking care to place the pinstripes harmoniously on each piece, in order to perfectly match the pattern of the fabric. The cut, the choice of materials, the study of proportions, the careful attention to detail, the combinations, are all aimed at the creation of a unique garment.

The jacket is entirely hand-worked strictly following all the passages of the Italian sartorial tradition. On the front of the jacket the canvas, then the horsehair and finally the ribs are applied with skillful needlework, which give shape and reinforcement to the structure of the garment.
The shoulder pads and rolls, also applied by hand, define and “sculpt” the shoulders, giving them a definite and gritty line. The whole garment is finished with stitching and buttonholes made by hand.
The garment is completed with jewelled buttons: the guilloche’ workmanship, typical of jewellery products, decorates the whole edge in 18K gold-plated metal, which encloses a small round slab of black onyx stone.
