The Spartan

The decorative stacking puzzle figure of the Spartan is part of a series that combines historical information, folk elements and Greek tradition with interactivity and modern design. The different coloured pieces – red, grey, brown, black and natural wood – highlight its archetypal characteristics. The Spartan comprises seven different pieces, all handmade from beech wood and dyed with eco-friendly water-based paints.

The Spartan warriors are the most famous warriors of antiquity. Spartans brought terror to rival armies due to their incredible training and discipline. Their highly demanding military education started at the age of 7 and ended after 12 years.
