New concepts in hat making

  • • Roberto modernises hats with vibrant aesthetics
  • • For him the hat is a symbol for creative souls
  • • He makes healing hats with special energy powers for the wearer

Free spirited Roberto Lucchi, born in 1995, started out as a musician, but remained in search of the best way to express himself and his creative world. He landed in millinery. “How can I stand out in a society that tends towards homogenisation and massification?” This is the question at the origin of his entire journey. The hat became his answer. Roberto was faced with the extreme difficulty of finding someone able to hand make a hat to measure for him, and he realised the great craft potential of this sector. In 2017 he opened his atelier near Ferrara. In parallel he discovered an old abandoned hat factory in the Florentine countryside where he was able to recover wooden hat shapes and equipment that he brought back to life.
