The sculpture resembling a sea urchin is assembled from thousands of forged mild steel components. The repetition of multiple units forms the basis to the aesthetic of Junko's dynamic sculptures. Distilling observations of the natural world, she translates their essence to create works of unbelievable complexity and beauty.
