The construction of the Torpedo uses simple metalworking techniques that have been used since the end of the 19th century. Stamping — also called pressing —was used for the making of the bottom bracket and fittings. All the tubes in the frame are rolled by hand and then brazed or welded autogenously. Bending is also done by hand. As well as burnished steel, this piece also uses brass and leather.
