Patience meets passion

  • • Mare creates expressive and lively glass art
  • • She masters multiple glass working techniques
  • • Her work is inspired by her natural surroundings

Mare’s journey as a glass artist was inspired by Czech glass artist Pavel Hlava in 1971. She has studied in multiple specialised glass schools in different countries, working next to many prominent glass masters, and has even attended numerous international glass symposiums and exhibitions. During her career, she has invented her own unique and special techniques of fusing dry glass powder in sand and quartz moulds, that give her works exquisite forms. Most of her works are inspired by her surroundings, nature, and words and the pieces are filled with abstract flowing forms that certainly catch their viewers attention. Currently, she dedicates her time fully to personal projects, but sometimes finds the time to assists and teach other glass artists and designers in their work.
