Creating colourful but delicate glass sculptures and vessels

2 to 3 days Max 8 peopleFrom 300 euros per person

During this course you will have the opportunity to learn how multi-coloured glass pastes can be used to fill plaster-kaolin moulds and how – after firing and heating them to between 730 and 790 degrees Celsius – you can create delicate glass sculptures and vessels. Along the way, Mare will teach you how to work with glass powders and pastes, create heat-resistant moulds, and prepare kiln schedules. This course requires no prior knowledge of glassmaking but it can also be adapted for those more experienced participants. The course itself can be completed in 1–2 days, however, the cooling of glass and kiln schedule takes up to 2–3 days to fuse and reveal the finished work. All material and equipment are provided.
