Trifle

A love triangle plays out amid a bed as sweet to the eye as the desserts surrounding the figures are to the tongue. The delicately painted porcelain sculpture, a collaboration between Chris Antemann and the Meissen manufactory, depicts three figures that trifle with one another, hinting at future events that may come.

Chris Antemann was invited by Meissen to collaborate with the historic manufacturer and its master artisans on a series of limited-edition pieces. The "Antemann Dreams Collection", inspired by Meissen's iconic tradition of intricately painted porcelain miniatures, depicts decadent and lustful scenes.
