Harry Morgan

Harry Morgan is an emerging artist and designer based in Manchester. He is building a reputation for his unusual use of materials and experimental approach to traditional processes to position materials such as concrete and glass in such a way as to question the fragility of glass. Whether referencing ancient Venetian glassblowing or Brutalist architecture, his work challenges the physical and cultural meaning of the medium. Since graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 2014, he has exhibited widely in the UK and internationally. He was a finalist of the 2019 Loewe Craft Prize and exhibited at Isamu Noguchi’s indoor garden “Heaven” in Tokyo, where the jury awarded him Special Mention. His sculptures are in the permanent collection of the Victorian & Albert Museum, London and the European Museum of Modern Glass, Germany.
