Juraj Horňák is a designer and craftsman with a background in architecture. He completed a Bachelor's degree at technical school in the Czech Republic followed by a Master’s degree in Slovakia at art school. During his studies, Juraj began Lebo Mädveď, a project in which he designed educational games. Initially working alone, he subsequently brought on board two classmates. Juraj made his first game five years ago, and as a team, the group has designed around 20 games that are sold mostly in Czechia and Slovakia but also abroad. In addition to product design, Juraj focuses on public space activation through a project called MestoCity, exploring the topic of games and play at a more conceptual level. Juraj currently holds a PhD position at the Faculty of Architecture in Bratislava.
