Hand painted stoves and fireplaces

Located inside the Teracota Mediaș stove manufacturer, the eponymous shop provides visitors with a wide range of tiles or replicas and the possibility to order stoves and fireplaces based on the offer in the showroom. Since 1906 the manufacturer has produced hand painted tiles using old ovens, the original recipe for clay mixtures and techniques passed down from one generation to another. Teracota Mediaș currently produces over 300 models of tiles for terracotta stoves. They can be simple or ornamental with geometric and decorative patterns, multi-coloured glazes and hand painted before and after firing with heat-resistant glazes.
