Piet Hein Eek is famed for his style developed from his interest in craftsmanship and his upcycling initiative. In 2010, Piet Hein Eek expanded his atelier by filling the old Philips factory with a shop, a showroom, an art gallery, an event space, and a restaurant. Besides discovering his signature pieces, such as Scrapwood Cabinet and Elm Tile Cabinet in the shop, you can also explore his latest work based on his newest initiatives, such as the Waste Waste series and Tile Cube series. In order to delineate his philosophy with a more holistic approach, he has also curated the shop space with other lifestyle products, including Freitag bags from Germany, Dutch handmade shoes by Novesta, and Miller Goodman rubberwood toys from the UK, all of which share the same craft-driven sustainable spirit.
