Explore the art of printing on fabric

Work with master artisan Nicola Henley and get a taste of creating with fabric in this fantastic introduction to the craft of screen-printing. Nicola will share the skills and techniques she has built up over more than 30 years of working with fabric and print. You will design and print your own artworks using plants and flowers to make repeat prints. Explore the world of colour mixing and use multiple layers to create bespoke imagery. Using this ancient technique you will discover how to use inks and resists to develop art pieces. No experience is required. A minimum of two participants is required to run the course. Courses take place in Nicola’s newly built studio which is an hour from the Atlantic coastline and the stunning Burren landscape in the west of Ireland. The course runs from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, and includes a farmhouse lunch. The studio also offers accommodation on site (limited numbers) at an extra cost.
