Explore the art of printing on fabric
6 hours 2-6 people80 euros per personWork with master artisan Nicola Henley and get a taste of creating with fabric in this fantastic introduction to the craft of screen-printing. Nicola will share the skills and techniques she has built up over more than 30 years of working with fabric and print. You will design and print your own artworks using plants and flowers to make repeat prints. Explore the world of colour mixing and use multiple layers to create bespoke imagery. Using this ancient technique you will discover how to use inks and resists to develop art pieces. Everything you make at the studio you can take home. This is a fun and easy introduction that's ideal for beginners. A minimum of two participants is required to run the course, which is held from 10am to 4pm from April to October, by appointment. Courses take place in Nicola’s newly built studio which is an hour from the Atlantic coastline and the stunning Burren landscape in the west of Ireland. The studio also offers accommodation on site (limited numbers) at an extra cost.
