Behind the scenes of the Majolika workshop

Unveil the age-old beauty of traditional folk craftsmanship and have an exceptional opportunity to look behind the scenes of the largest ceramic workshop with the longest tradition in Slovakia. The educational tour opens with an introduction at the foundation stone from 1973, and continues with a guided tour through the entire production process. There is the opportunity to visit the huge wagon chamber kilns from the 1970s and to listen to an expert lecture on pottery production and traditional ornaments. Master potters offer a demonstration of their work. The tour concludes with a short documentary film and a look around the dedicated exhibition. Adults can join for 6 euros; children, students and seniors for 4 euros.
