Tour and hands-on ceramic painting

Discover traditional pottery production in this guided tour of L'Udová Majolika, where ceramics are hand spun, shaped, glazed, and painted by master potters. You will witness the nitty-gritty of this traditional folk craftsmanship in the workshop facilities. The tour takes you to an exhibition of contemporary Majolika master creations, as well as centuries-old samples by the master Heřman Landsfeld, the father of Slovak and Czech ceramics. You will be able to try out the technique of painting on raw glaze the way the master artisans decorate Majolika ceramics, in the final part of the tour. Your products will be fired and delivered to your address. Adults can join for 15 euros; children, students and seniors for 12 euros.
