Learn from a visionary master

Multifaceted master craftsman Andrea Salvatori invites us to discover his extraordinary studio, where shapes and colours reign supreme. Here, the tradition of ceramics marries with the imagination of the artisan. By sharing his vast archives, Andrea explains the phases involved in making a ceramic object, with particular attention to the different types of clays and enamels he uses. Every visitor is asked to develop his or her own personal artistic vision, creating a small sculpture to be coloured with the ingobbio technique. The sculptures are later fired, then shipped to the home of the participant (delivery charges not included in the fee). The visit to Andrea Salvatori’s studio and the making of a clay object lasts six hours. Day and time must be agreed with Andrea beforehand. The course costs 200 euros for a group of maximum four participants.
