Experience the art of wallpaper

Located in the western region of France, the Atelier d'Offard welcomes the public for guided tours, an invitation to discover wallpaper making. After a presentation of the Atelier's impressive collection, master craftsman François-Xavier Richard will tell the history of the company and unveil its major reconstruction projects: a great opportunity for participants to discover the original papers behind the reproduction work. He will also talk about the techniques and types of paper used in the workshop. Guided through each of the studio’s workplaces, participants will learn about the various processes: woodblock printing, stone cardboard, embossing and more. The cost of the tour varies depending on the group size: 1 to 20 people is 180 euros per group; 21 to 40 people is 250 euros per group.
