Vicki Ambery-Smith

Vicki Ambery-Smith’s distinctive style of jewellery and silversmithing draws on her interest in architecture. The British silversmith specialises in celebratory and commemorative pieces that capture the client’s personal connection to a particular building of significance. She uses techniques of manipulation and trompe l’oeil to create interpretations of buildings in silver and gold. Vicki’s work has been selected for public and private collections around the world including: the Victoria and Albert Museum, London; National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh; Crafts Council, London; Norwich Castle Museum; Birmingham City Art Gallery; the Museum for Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; University of Houston, Texas; and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
