Masters at work: Photogravure printing

Master photoengravers Fanny Boucher and Marie Levoyet will be working live in the Cenacolo room, demonstrating the savoir-faire of photogravure printing from its purest tradition to its innovative capacities. The artisans will work in dialogue with one another, creating a unique piece consisting of some 20 exceptional prints. Fanny and Marie will demonstrate the whole process of intaglio printing, from the preparation of the support to the inking of the copper matrix.
