Master basket weaver Annemarie O’Sullivan will be working live in the Cenacolo room, demonstrating how to weave food trays and baskets using ancient pairing, randing, waling, fitching and scalloming techniques. These traditional techniques require only the use of hands and some home-grown willow and local chestnut. “All I need is a knife and some rods of willow, and I can make a basket. I love the simplicity of this work", says Annemarie.
