This vase, hand-turned from pine wood on a lathe, is sculpted with Nicola Tessari's bugNature surface working technique. The aesthetic of the pieces with this surface is inspired by the Italian masonry techniques called bugnato (rustication). BugNature focuses on accentuating the physical properties of the wood’s surface without altering them.
