Lord of the Dragon was Juho Könkkölä’s first long-term origami project. From the initial idea to the finished piece, it took over one and a half years and numerous revisions and iterations to create. The origami figure consists of thousands of folds to create all the intricate details such as fingers, spikes and claws. The centre point of the single square sheet of paper became the tip of the dragon’s tail.
