Imaginary Alphabet ABCD-M
Under the patronage of maison Montblanc, Studio Marianne Guély presents a glimpse of its creativity and savoir-faire through this immersive installation. The imaginary alphabet ABCD’M represented by the paper letters that float in space as if escaped from the books is a graphic and physical representation of knowledge and savoir-faire accumulated, written down and transmitted over time through writing.

The installation is a contemporary tribute to the Venetian printer of 1515, Aldo Manuzio. It echoes the cultural diversity of Venice, a city that over the centuries has made its mark in the world of art and savoir-faire. The shelves of books are a metaphorical representation of the knowledge and savoir-faire accumulated, written down and transmitted over time. The arch is a symbol of the ancient libraries and bridges of Venice, as links between cultures and knowledge. The mirror reflects endlessly the library and the letters evoking the perpetuation and evolution of knowledge through time. In collaboration with Lorenz Boegli, a printer beyond compare, with unique silkscreen printing skills, Studio Marianne Guély and Montblanc have created a bold and immersive experience.
