Il Sogno delle Nuvole

The contemporary mosaic work designed by Toyoharu Kii was created from Biancone marble, using cement adhesives on an aluminium honeycomb support and cement smoothing around the perimeter.

The work was created as part of a training project called “L’incontro con l’artista Toyoharu Kii”, where the third-year students of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli created a mosaic work using a design presented by the Japanese artist Toyoharu Kii. This piece is an example of an important moment of cultural and artistic exchange between Italy and Japan.
