Promemoria

Promemoria was founded by cabinetmaker and designer Romeo Sozzi in 1988. Based in Como, the company makes exceptionally crafted luxury furniture, stemming from roots that lie in the craftsmanship of a cabinetmaking tradition that spans four generations of the Sozzi family. Romeo is the creative soul of Promemoria, and runs the company together with his three sons. Every piece that emerges from Promemoria is handmade, often made to measure, and in limited editions. Promemoria creations are exported all over the world and, over the years, the company has become a point of reference in luxury and design circles when it comes to making items with special finishes for the most demanding and sophisticated clients.

Romeo Sozzi is the founder of Promemoria. He studied at Brera Academy in Milan, and entered the world of interior decoration in the 1970s. A designer and artist, Romeo gathers inspiration for his furniture designs from his travels, taking in what the world around him has to offer in the form of objects, colours, books and so much more.
