Maurizio Duranti

Maurizio Duranti is an architect, and industrial and exhibition designer who works for numerous companies in the household sector. He graduated in architecture at Genoa in 1976. Maurizio began his career as a lecturer in the faculty of architecture at Genoa and at the European Institute of Design in Milan. He left teaching to focus fully on industrial design and architecture. Maurizio opened his first agency in Genoa, which he ran until 1987 when he moved to Milan. Many of Maurizio's designs are included in international museum collections. Maurizio is a ten times winner of the Chicago Good Design Award and was granted the honourable mention at the Compasso d'Oro in Milan.
