SnedkersindCabinet maker

Kristian Frandsen is a master cabinetmaker and craftsman. Educated in cabinetmaking at the Royal Household of Amalienborg in 2014, Kristian continued his studies at the Carl Malmsten School of Arts & Crafts in Sweden, followed by study travels to Japan and Australia. In 2017 he established Snedkersind, his workshop and studio in the heart of Copenhagen. In 2020 Kristian relocated to the rural landscape of eastern Jutland, to be closer to nature and family by living and working at the family homestead. Passionate about the vast possibilities within the materials and true traditional craftsmanship, the guiding principle at Snedkersind has always been to deliver personal solutions created with the utmost skill, care and attention to detail. Kristian is the recipient of numerous awards and medals, such as The Danish Arts & Crafts Medal, the Emerging Designer Maker Award by Australian Studio Furniture, and Lis Ahlmanns Honorary Award for Good Craftsmanship.
