Atelier Zinj

The highly skilled artisans of the Atelier Zinj workshop, based in Kenya, create beautiful, leather accessories embellished with a "contemporary take" on traditional East African beadwork. Every piece is meticulously beaded and stitched by hand in a variety of patterns inspired by their various cultures and location. For example, their recent theme, called "Origins," is inspired by ancient Africa, cave-dwelling, rock art and the elemental artefacts of ancient times: bone, clay, hide, shells, rock, stone and fire.
