Donovan Roll

The sofa is crafted from solid wood with elastic belts and upholstered in leather or fabric. Cylindrical upholstered armrests are connected to the base with refined leather straps and metal loops. The base and lower half of the sofa's back are surrounded by a frame in multilayered wood covered with fabric or leather cannettè quilting, which creates a ribbed effect. Small bookcase modules clad in leather with shelves in metal and glass, and trays in marble with leather frames equip the back of the sofa.

Designed by artist and designer Marc Ange, Il Pavone is a capsule collection of sculptural armchairs inspired by the "Bestiary" of the ancient world and the seductive yet fragile beauty of the peacock. Marc drew inspiration from his travels to India, where multiple encounters with peacocks enabled him to study the birds' behaviour and beauty. In keeping with his tendency for the extraordinary, Marc's interpretation of Visionnaire's world comes to life through an allegorical display of the romantic creature, which, to him, embodies Visionnaire's unique eye for beauty and luxury.
