The small cabinet is handcrafted from Japanese horse chestnut and inlaid with decorative motifs. The piece has been finished with a wiped urushi lacquer. This piece takes inspiration from the poem The Ode on the Red Cliff by Su Shi, likening the wood grains to the moonlit water.
