This handcrafted ceramic vase is part of the Lachrymatoires Bleues series. The series is based on lachrymatory vases, small vials found in ancient burial chambers, which were later believed to be "tear gatherers" for collecting the tears shed at the loss of a loved one. Rachid Koraïchi conceived these repositories for the many tears spilt due to the tragic wars in the Middle East and the resulting refugee crisis.
