The sterling silver pitcher is forged in one piece except for the long swirling handle. The smooth shape, the lightly hammered surface and the solid handle are characteristic of Sebastian Schildt’s vast production of pitchers.

The pitcher is made from one single piece of metal: a round silver plate with a thickness of about 5 mm. It was created through a hammering process, using a series of different hammers. This craftsmanship is particularly time-consuming: one pitcher takes more than 100 hours to make, striking 100 times a minute.
