Atmos I

Based on a 1928 concept by Swiss inventor Jean-Léon Rutter who entrusted its development and production to the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre, the Atmos is the first clock with a perpetual movement. Dating from 1931, this Atmos I contains the LeCoultre 30A perpetual winding movement, the first calibre manufactured by LeCoultre & Cie for the Atmos, in a cast opalescent glass cabinet that is decorated with characteristic Art Deco motifs.
