Using a combination of techniques, this narrow-necked amphora is made of porcelain and concrete, finished with a crystalline glaze. The message is subversive: a few million years and human intelligence lie between the rock formation and the vase. But yet the crystalline glaze is only applied on the formed shapes whose role has been reduced to nothing, nature’s creations are left undecorated.
