The ORGANIC series of vases first started when finding a piece of wood with an amazing structure, different textures and forms on each facet. Weronika Lucińska & Dawid Żynda decided to capture this phenomenal shape in porcelain. This is how the first vase from the series was created, a collection that is continually being developed.

The pursuit of excellence

- • Their porcelain is defined by its whiteness
When two artistic ideas are blended such that you can’t distinguish whose project it was in the beginning, you know it is a perfect fusion. That is how Weronika Lucińska and Dawid Żynda decided to embrace this collaboration and create a brand, Barite. They met at the Faculty of Ceramic and Glass Design at the Wroclaw Academy of Fine Arts. Both started their professional experience in Polish porcelain manufacturers and specialise in throwing on the potter's wheel. For their joint project, they combine high-quality functional porcelain with a modern design. “Dawid has a technical approach and searches for a solution to the toughest problems. Whereas, I work on the artistic layer, looking for interesting forms that are almost impossible to make,” smiles Weronika.

The ORGANIC series of porcelain vases is characterised by its high quality and modern design. The inspiration for the series came about when stumbling upon naturally worn pieces of wood with unique characteristics. Weronika Lucińska & Dawid Żynda used this wood to create the moulds for their designs. Organic 6.0 is part of a continual exploration of this series through the use of varied pieces of wood.

Wave tea set
This unique porcelain tea set was shaped on a potter’s wheel. The liquid and organic forms of Wave tea set offer an interesting alternative to the forms of traditional porcelain tea sets. The handmade and unique quality of each set is an invitation to slow down and celebrate the moment of drinking tea.
