The armchair was created as a rethinking of the palace armchairs. The classic form in the author's performance. The structure of the chair is created as a spatial structure in which the back of the chair flows smoothly into the supporting structure that holds the front legs. Forged parts are made as realistic as possible. They create the feeling of a precious ornament. This performance contrasts with the selected material. Pure steel and wood are brutal enough and give a reference to modernity.

This decorative panel was made using ancient blacksmithing techniques. The hand forged acanthus leaf is placed on a rusted sheet of metal and then etched with floral details. With this piece, Nikolai’s aim was to show traditional blacksmithing patterns out of their usual context to create an independent work of art.
