This bowl made of glass is composed of dozens of extremely fine lines in cool winter tones, such as blue and grey, giving it its delicate yet complex look. It is made using a Swedish Overlay technique, a method of glassblowing using two separate bubbles and turning one inside out over the other, therefore giving the opportunity to carve the colours in such a precise way.

As well as a Swedish Overlay technique, a process of wheel cut was used to create this bowl, where diamond wheels cut into the piece and create the patterns letting the light go through the fine lines, therefore giving it its depth and complex colours.
