The body of this lamp is carved from a gourd. The lamp has complex fractal-like patterns that reflect the beauty of symmetry and has over 20 thousand holes. The big circles evolve from the top of the lamp according to the same principle. They also refer to the perforated pattern that surrounds them. The intricate perforation contains dozens of smaller and bigger circles. There are 321 circles of 43 different sizes.

For Przemek Krawczyński becoming an artisan was a matter of coincidence. It began when his mother brought home a gourd fruit she got from a gardener friend. Curious about its shape, he looked it up on the internet and found photos of lamps – "I thought it would be nice to make a lamp for myself, and that’s how it all started!" As a working student, Przemek began exploring his new hobby and made lamps for his friends. It was a self-taught path. A year later, he had the opportunity to go for a month to Senegal for drumming workshops. "I quit university and my job. I came back broke, but I knew that I wanted to make lamps." That was over 10 years ago, and today his lamps enchant the homes of connoisseurs from all continents.

Floor lamp IV Nepenthis (by day)
The head of this lamp is carved from gourd. The design is based on a spiral drawn with mathematical precision. The whole fractal-like pattern grows and evolves between the top and the bottom, so there are no two identical parts of the pattern. The head of the lamp is made of gourd from Mali. The perforation is done with drills of twenty different diameters. Przemek Krawczyński pierced the lamp close to thirty thousand times.

Table lamp XXVII Escher’s Leaves (by day)
The precisely charted spiral-based pattern of this table lamp was inspired by the work of M.C. Escher. The leaf design was built on the spherical, spiral grid to create evolving, symmetrical and continuous balanced leaf forms. The whole gourd is carved, including the openwork leaves. The ending part of the base is carved from wood. Its motif is closely related to the main pattern of the lamp
