A tip of the hat

  • • Patrizia is inspired by art, life, emotions and nature
  • • For her a hat must be made using hands, head and heart
  • • She reinterprets vintage models respecting contemporary taste

The story of the oldest hat workshop in Rome began in 1936 with the Cirri family, who were previously hat makers in Tuscany. The business was resurrected in 2003 thanks to the passion and perseverance of Patrizia Fabri, who rechristened it "Antica Manifattura Cappelli", thus keeping alive a rare testimony to the world of handmade hats. A sophisticated designer and fashion historian, Patrizia is absolutely convinced that hats are an essential accessory to show feminine charm and elegance. At Patrizia’s workshop everything is handmade, and therefore tailored to the taste and needs of each client, who can choose their model, the raw material used to make it, the colour and type of decoration, including their initials inside the hat.
