Because I love the Czech Republic! Of course, theoretically, I could do my work anywhere: I have no employees, I get the leather from Italy and the zippers from Switzerland. But my beloved ones are here. As well as my workshop.

I work with vegetable tanned full-grain leather from Tuscany. It has the "Pelle al vegetale" certificate, which means that it comes from happy cows living free in nature. This leather carries details like marks from insect stings and other "imperfections".

I love that leather actually matures thanks to them. If you give the same leather product to two different people, after a year the things will look different. It'll be stretched or darker on the parts that are used the most. It reflects its owners.

They reflect my vigilant perception of the everyday. I'm inspired by cornices of houses, old bookbindings or shadows. And above all, by the very nature of the traditional leathercraft: its plain and elegant shapes, its thoroughness and functionality.
