Soulful flowers

  • • Katya uses flowers to connect with people
  • • Japanese expertise has shaped her work
  • • She is inspired by garden blooms and the Golden Age

Katya Hutter’s timeless, yet contemporary floral arrangements, have a sculptural beauty, as well as a sense of something being expressed, an emotion, a story, an idea – something that speaks to the admirer, ultimately connecting with them. This budding floral designer found her calling after being inspired by the wondrous variety of flowers in a local flower market in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands. The world of blooms opened up to her, drawing her towards Paris and the Japanese master floral designer Atsushi Taniguchi who taught her to pay attention to each individual flower, to truly see each flower and be guided by it. Her motto is "artistic expression and respect for flowers", and her goal is to let them speak and tell their story through her creations. Katya’s style is lush, abundant, and surprising.
