  • • He opened his studio together with his wife, who is also a stonemason

Born in a village with a long tradition of processing stone, Ionel Moise was 16 when he started working in this field. He learned the secrets of the craft from local masters, who acquired their knowledge from the Italian sculptors who laid the foundations of the stone quarry in Albesti, Romania. He has been practising this profession for over 30 years, during which time he has perfected his skills in stone carving and sculpture. In 1997, he opened his studio together with his wife and they founded their own company 10 years later.
