It happened thanks to a public tender for financing the preservation and rebirth of endangered crafts. The valley where I was born has an exceptional tradition for paper making, dating back at least to 1381, but lost until the early 2010s.

As a Toscolano resident, it was usual for me to spend time in the Paper Museum and meet the elderly people who had worked for the now-closed paper mills of this region. After that, I exchanged my views with countless paper makers in Italy and abroad, acquired proper training, and I became a professor at the Fine Arts Academy in Venice.

It is a niche handcrafted paper of the highest quality. The paper is entirely crafted using 100% certified natural cellulose (from linen, cotton or hemp) and worked with the local waters, which are notably pure. I also use vintage tools and machinery from the 1930s, and original inks for printing.

My paper creations tend to be used for special occasions, like ceremonies, or for discerning clients seeking to stand out. I personally craft one by one the menus of some of the best restaurants in Italy and abroad, such as the Michelin-starred Da Vittorio and Lido 84.
