My profession and this ancestral know-how are completely linked to lavender, which is historically produced in Provence. The manufacture of bobbins and other products was done at the very heart of families from generation to generation. The original purpose was a useful one, before becoming a decorative item as it is today.

To tell a story of Provence and of many families through fabrics, embroidery and linens found in flea markets. I go to decoration fairs every year to get inspired by trends. I am passionate about decoration and my desire is to combine traditional Provençal know-how and modernity.

Transmission within families and between women. The emotions that I experienced as a child, surrounded by this lovely smell of lavender, this Provence sun, as well as the bond and the memories with my grandmother are deeply rooted in me. This technical simplicity, combined with sharing, makes spindle manufacturing a magical experience for me.

A French decoration TV program contacted me to do a feature on my activity and the different products I make with lavender (spindles, cushions, etc.). The recording was done in June and the broadcast in September 2019. Following this, I received hundreds of orders. It was a huge surprise. From a small craftswoman, I became a real craft business that now hires employees and can respond to large orders throughout the year.
