Embrace is a series of vessels, each one different from the other. Each vessel is characterised by a sculpted sheet of white porcelain, thinner than 1 mm, applied on a vase of about 19 cm height, of various thicknesses. Biondi is researching the dialogue between the two parts, that only fire completes by making visible the distortions that the different parts create among themselves.

Each vessel turns out to be different and unpredictable, and Biondi’s aim is to arrive to match them together into a perfectly shaped equilibrated embrace.
