Stages in stained glass

  • • Caroline was awarded the Meilleure ouvrière de France
  • • She integrates stained glass into contemporary architecture
  • • She founded Atelier Saint Didier at the age of 26

It was a true revelation when Caroline Prégermain discovered stained glass, she knew instantly that it would be her field. In her Parisian workshop, opened in 1986, Caroline constantly challenges the thousand-year-old craft. Through her various decorative projects, she reveals a graphic style as she revives stained glass with a contemporary expression. Drawing and glass painting are her specialities, but she likes to divert techniques, exploring the interplay of transparency and colours. With her traditional savoir-faire and creativity, she adapts her creations to the location and the light of the surrounding environment. Caroline works mainly for architects and private clients.
