Participants will be guided to explore the unique collection of original musical instruments, handcrafted by the greatest master luthiers. The itinerary is a journey into the history of music and its language through the most significant pieces on display, following the development of lutherie from the early 16th century in the Venetian Serenissima’s land (Salò, Brescia, Cremona, Venice). The Music Museum is housed in the splendid Church of San Maurizio, rich in history and art: here the harmonious sounds of celebrated string instruments signed by Amati, Guadagnini and Goffriller come to life.
