Immerse yourself in the world of clay

2 hours Max 10 people15 euros per person

Experienced potters in the Vilnius Pottery Guild did not only reconstruct ancient ceramics and tiles based on the historical pieces that reached us. There you too can dive into the world of pottery and learn a variety of pottery techniques. Two days a week, the pottery workshop holds classes, during which you can get acquainted with the history of pottery, try out different types of clay and learn to prepare clay mass in the traditional way. Then follows kneading and various ways of forming earthenware, including throwing. Throwing is done using reconstructed historical pottery wheels from the 10th, 15th or 16th century, offering is a great way to feel like an ancient potter even just for a day. Finally, it will be time for decorating your work using various techniques and glazing when you can let your imagination roam. The pieces will then be fired and can be shipped to the address of your choice at an additional cost.
