Learn to weave trees and landscape

From 3 hours 1 personFrom 145 GBP

This workshop serves as a great introduction to weaving for complete beginners and as a second step for those with some weaving experience. Its aim is to create a unique textural mini weaving of a landscape, including one or more trees, ready to take home. The techniques that are taught are needle weaving, knotting, soumak technique and other textural effects. Weaving materials are provided and different yarns will be available to experiment with. How to finish a piece is also taught. The workshop runs for 3 hours over one or two days and further blocks of 2-hour sessions can be booked.
